Contemporary lines and savoir faire typical of a cutting-edge artisan: Demasiado Corazon – the name which refers to the title of a song by Willy DeVille – is a bed designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 1999. It was created to meet the need for a bed with a comfortable headboard, and indeed the headboard is the star feature of this bed. It is the structural element that stretches out and gives life to this iconic design. Subtle capitonné upholstery with a traditional chessboard effect enhances the look even further. The top rail is a piece that highlights the artisan precision of Ceccotti Collezioni. The simple, almost invisible, structure seems to suggest the idea of an object that thrives on "precarious equilibriums", connected to the "region of shadows" in which we dream. This item of furniture hides a complex design: made from solid American walnut with a veneered plywood base, it is available in various dimensions with leather or natural leather upholstery to meet a range of aesthetic requirements.

The Ceccotti Collezioni story heralds from Ceccotti Aviero, a company founded in 1956, specializing in the production of residential furniture and later in supplying hotels.The company collaborated with some of the most prestigious hotel groups in the world, Trusthouse Forte from London, Sheraton and Ciga, giving an international application to the traditional artisan workmanship of the Tuscan town of Cascina, nestled between Florence and Pisa, where the company is based.
From the ‘School of Art’ in Cascina came the designers and skilled craftsmen who developed an artisanal culture in furniture making and wood processing. The company continues to grow, inspired by the countless collaborations that determines its development and expansion.
